Adrian Raedel

I am married to Kerri and have twin sons, Christian and William, who are turning 5 in May 2024.

I grew up in Beachmere, and my Mum and Dad owned a Landscaping business in Caboolture, which I worked in as a young adult before starting up my own sign-making business.

I then entered Local Government as a Councillor for Division 12, MBRC, in 2008, as the only new Councillor elected into the newly amalgamated, then called, Moreton Bay Regional Council.

I served our wonderful community for 12 incredible years, and over those 12 years, our community had some momentous achievements, including:

• the Caboolture to Wamuran Rail Trail
• the CREEC All Abilities Playground at Burpengary
• Woodford Visitor Information Centre
• Relocation of the Old School Building in Wamuran
• Introducing local community events to the region, including Movie Nights, Easter Egg Hunts
• Connecting Elimbah to Caboolture via the Pathway
• the Bellthorpe Range Road reconstruction
• Introduced initiatives such as The Great Grafatti RoundUp and Dob-In-A-Pot Hole
• and many more.

My greatest achievement in the past years is undoubtedly my two beautiful boys, Christian and William, who are thriving and growing up in this spectacular region.

In 2020, the course of my career changed direction, and I completed a Town Planning Post Graduate degree and started consulting with various clients. I gained a wealth of experience in this field and expanded my knowledge of the future challenges our region faces as we grow.

Whilst establishing myself in this field, I continued to serve the community from the outside of Local Government, hosting my Easter Egg Hunts, Movie Nights and assisting various community organisations. This has been, and always will be, my passion. I continue to advocate for our community and support residents and organisations who seek a better lifestyle for all of us to enjoy.

2023 brings exciting opportunities for the community and myself, and I am looking forward to being a part of what lies ahead! Please get in touch with me if I can help you with anything.
